Project: Integrated Thermal Press

Design Challenge: Our customer needed to integrate their standard Thermal Press into a third party automated conveyor system for heat staking Keyboard assemblies. The challenge was to lift the nested parts off the conveyor system, then heat stake, and return them back into position without creating any undo stress on the conveyor.
The Result: We chose to invert key components of the heat staking machine and present the part to our customer which resulted in a sophisticated new inverted standard application.
